Training

When it comes to victims’ rights knowledge building, VSE and its network brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. The overall objective of VSE’s work is to strengthen the organisational capacity of VSE members and other organisations and individuals coming into contact with victims to achieve change.

In order to put this plan into action, VSE has developed wide-ranging experience and competences in capacity-building since our foundation in 1990. Through various projects and programmes, the organisation offers a wide range of services, which includes both trainings and coaching on issues such as referring victims to victim support, victims’ needs and Victims’ Directive, the provision of information to victims of crime, individual assessment of victims of crime, communication, and strategic litigation. All these activities support the skill-building efforts and organisational development of victim support serves across the EU.

VSE also offers training that helps address the rights of various groups of victims, for instance, through its knowledge development on hate speech.

VSE has supported knowledge development through the delivery of specific training events, workshops, lectures and presentations in both VSE-organised events and the events organised by others. Below you will find the list of the main training activities we have carried out.
