Organisational structure

Victim Support Europe (VSE) is the leading European umbrella organisation advocating on behalf of all victims of crime, no matter what the crime, no matter who the victim is.

VSE consists of the Executive Board, the Head Office team (which includes our permanent staff, interns, and volunteers) and our 58 members (as of March 2020) all over Europe.

VSE’s Executive Board is the organisation’s main governing body. Board members (a minimum of six and a maximum of ten) are elected every 2 years by the General Assembly and represent member organisations.

VSE’s Head Office is established in the area of Brussels-Capitale.
People working for the Head Office are coming from various countries and backgrounds and proud to be part of a professional and dedicated team committed to the advancement of victims’ rights.

VSE is growing from strength to strength, and at the heart of its success is its membership. VSE has three categories of members: Full Members, Associate Members, and Supporter of VSE (corporate and individual); meaning that anyone can join VSE from a victim support organisation in Europe through to, a University, Ministry, Company or any individual around the world interested in supporting victims’ issues.

You can find all the information on How To Become a Member on VSE’s website.
