Victims’ Rights Communicators Network is meeting again!

The VSE Events & Communications Team is glad to announce that the second meeting of the Victims’ Rights Communicators Network will take place on Wednesday 8 June 2022, between 10:30 an 12:00 CEST.

2022 and the beginning of 2023 is marked by newly proposed or revised legislation in the field of victims’ rights. The European Commission will not only assess the impact of the Victims’ Rights Directive, but has also published a legislative proposal on Violence Against Woman & Domestic Violence, and will revise the Trafficking in Human Beings & Anti-Terrorism Directive. It is crucial that we, communicators, promote and communicate the behind-the-scenes efforts of our policy teams, to safeguard the rights of victims of crime across Europe. The Victims’ Rights Communications Network intends to facilitate the exchange of good practices and to enhance each other’s efforts in communicating the work of our teams.

In the upcoming meeting, we will present VSE’s campaign planning for 2022 – 2023. This will include a brainstorming session on the focus for the 22 February 2023 campaign and a brief overview of the upcoming awareness raising campaign of the European Commission. During the final part of this meeting, we will leave the floor to our members to discuss the possibilities for a joint campaign. Please find the meeting’s agenda via the button below.

In case you would like to join the Victims’ Rights Communicators Network, or if you only want to attend this meeting, please do reach out to VSE Communications Assistant Lieselotte Van Den Heuvel on the following email address: VSEoffice2@victimsupporteurope.eu.

Have a wonderful weekend!
