Public Consultation: Combating Trafficking in Human Beings

Dear members,

The European Commission launched this consultation to gather the views of the public on combating trafficking in human beings.

Based on this consultation, the Commission will prepare a new EU Strategy on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, deciding on priorities and sets of actions for the next five years. The Strategy will notably cover the prevention and early identification of victims and improving the protection, support and empowerment of victims of trafficking. It will look to cover as well the use of internet and communication technologies as well as cooperation between law enforcement and judicial authorities.
