Olympic Games 2024: Essential Resources for Victims in Île-de-France

As the official opening of the Olympic Games kicks off today, we want to contribute to ensuring everyone’s safety and well-being during this major event. The city of Paris, in collaboration with the police, has prepared a crucial document to assist anyone in need or who may experience victimisation: Mapping and contact details of the reception and support systems for victims in Île-de-France during the Games.

This document is available in both English and French, please find below:

By scanning the QR code on the first page, you can use your smartphone’s geolocation application to view these support points on an interactive map (applicable if you are in France).

We kindly ask you to share this information on your social media channels to maximise its reach and ensure visitors are well-informed.

Additionally, we have established a cooperation protocol with France Victims and updated contacts within our Terrorism Response Network to address any incidents involving cross-border victims. We will collaborate closely with France Victimes in the event of such unfortunate situations.

More information on this topic can be found on the following website: https://www.paris.fr/pages/aide-aux-victimes-un-dispositif-exceptionnel-pendant-les-jeux-27954

While we hope for a smooth and joyous event, it is crucial to stay alert and ready to respond swiftly if needed.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we wish you a wonderful summer.
