V-Europe
V-Europe was created by victims of terrorism, both for victims of terrorist acts committed in Belgium and for Belgians affected abroad. The association was created primarily for past events, and also – unfortunately this seems possible – for future events.
The first objective is vital because the needs of these victims have still not been met. The second objective relates to the fact that this critical situation is likely to recur for future events, unless new systems and structures are put in place. This is why V-Europe is committed to working with all stakeholders, to ensure that lessons have been learned, and that concrete measures are taken.
