Missing Children Europe to Co-Host Annual Conference in Athens, Greece with Smile of the Child
Missing Children Europe, in collaboration with member Smile of the Child, will host their 2024 annual conference on 21 October in Athens, Greece.
Titled ‘Cooperation between Civil Society Organizations and Law Enforcement Agencies: Strengthening Multi-Disciplinary Responses for Missing Children in Europe’, the conference will explore crucial topics, such as legal frameworks, institutional cooperation, and the role of technology in protecting missing children across Europe. It will also aims to strengthen multi-disciplinary responses between law enforcement and civil society organizations responding to cases of missing children.
Panel discussions will focus on pathways to progress and promoting existing good practices, and pave the way for broadened European policy discussions on the issue.
