INFO-EVENT: ‘Strategic Victims’ Rights Advocacy in 2025 – The Year of Victim Support’
We at Victim Support Europe are happy to announce the next online event for the Victims’ Rights Communicators Network titled ‘Strategic Victims’ Rights Advocacy in 2025 – The Year of Victim Support’.
With special guest speakers Katarzyna Janicka-Pawlowska, European Commission Coordinator for Victims’ Rights and Ioana Traista, Project Manager – Communications Campaigns in Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers, European Commission, the event will delve into VSE’s strategic activity planning for 2025.
2025 marks a significant milestone as Victim Support Europe initiates “The Year of Victim Support”, a year-long endeavour aimed at advancing victims’ rights through universality, progress, and engagement. Moreover, 2025 marks the 35th anniversary of Victim Support Europe (VSE), an esteemed network committed to ensuring that victims of crime receive the rights and support they deserve, regardless of their circumstances or location within Europe.
Join us on July 12th, 2024 from 10:00 – 12:00 CET as we embark on this journey to elevate victims’ rights advocacy in 2025. Furthermore, we wish to host a collaborative event where each attendee participates. We will communicate questions in June and encourage all attendees to prepare answers beforehand. Please prioritize this event in your calendar. This is our only opportunity to plan 2025 joint actions six months ahead.
