Validity Foundation marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Yesterday, we received a request from our partners – Validity Foundation, Mental Disability Advocacy Centre – to share the information about their event to highlight the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Join this webinar on 5 December 2023, at 12pm (CET)! Validity Foundation is marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with the launch of a Toolchest for professionals working in the criminal justice system and victims with disabilities. The Toolchest is part of the Voices for Justice project focused on the experiences of persons with disabilities who are victims of crime.

The webinar will introduce the practical tools created for professionals who work with victims with disabilities in the justice system: law enforcement, legal professionals, victim support services, and social workers. The toolchest includes information in easy-to-read for victims with disabilities, giving guidance on their rights and what to expect from the criminal justice system.
