SAVE THE DATE: VSE Annual Conference 2026 in Paris!

Victim Support Europe and France Victimes are delighted to announce the Save the Date for the 2026 VSE Annual Conference – The Frontliners: Functional, Funded and Future-ready!

The 2026 Conference will take place on 2–3 June in Paris, France, at Espace Saint-Martin, bringing together victim support professionals, policymakers and experts from across Europe. The event will be preceded by the VSE Annual General Meeting  (venue TBC) on 1 June from 15:00 to 18:00.

This year’s conference will focus on promoting the implementation of the revised Victims’ Rights Directive (VRD) by showcasing its key changes, exploring best practices in victim support, and amplifying the voices and experiences of frontline professionals. It will also celebrate two significant anniversaries for victim support in France:
• 40 years of France Victimes, and
• 25 years of the 116006 helpline

Over the course of two intensive and engaging days, participants will:

  • • Explore how the revised VRD can be effectively translated into practice across Europe,
  • • Discuss emerging crime trends and their impact on victims,
  • • Exchange practical tools and innovative approaches that strengthen services,
  • • Reflect on the evolving needs, wellbeing and resilience of frontline workers.

Organised in close partnership with France Victimes, a long-standing member of Victim Support Europe, the 2026 Annual Conference will provide a unique opportunity to learn, connect and prepare Europe’s victim support community for the future.
