Every year VSE organises frequent round table meetings for the leading EU NGOs to enhance relationships among the NGOs that work for victims’ rights and their services. The roundtable provides a forum to connect people that share a common commitment to victims of crime in Europe and identify ways for future partnerships between the EC and NGOs at both European and national levels.

On 11 February 2021, the leading EU NGOs working for strengthening services for victims of crime gathered online to share their good practices and discuss the challenges ahead in the field of victims’ rights. This meeting was held in preparation for the Victim’s Rights Platform of 23 February 2021.

In 2019, for the fifth-consecutive time, the leading EU NGOs working for strengthening services for victims of crime gathered at EU_Commission (@EU_Justice) to share their good practices and discuss the challenges ahead in the field of victims’ rights.

In October 2018, Victim Support Europe conducted a round table “Victims of crime in Europe: a broader NGO perspective”. For the fourth time, VSE provided a unique opportunity for NGOs’ representatives to share their good practices and discuss the challenges ahead in the field of victims’ rights. While the participating organisations operate independently of each other, the roundtable provides a forum to connect people that share a common commitment to victims of crime in Europe and identify ways for future partnerships between the EC and NGOs at both European and national levels.

The EU NGO Round Table 2017 was held at the EC.
Purpose of the meeting:                      
– An opportunity for sharing good practices and foreseeing the challenges ahead in the field of  victims’ rights; 
– Identifying ways for better future collaboration between the EC and NGOs at both European and national levels.
